People that Buy Accounts - Guild Wars Forums

I might sound like a total idiot/moron, but I might as well ask

When people advertise that they are buying accounts for like - All 3 = 700k; Trial = 350k; Factions = 600k

Is this a scam? Cause I see it all the time and it gets annoying.

Has anyone ever successfully completed a trade like this?

It's a scam, and it's against EULA, and if you try and report them you'll find they've changed districts before you can copy the name to avoid you doing just that

i tried to sell someone my trial key and he stole my account. this was around wintersday and made me miss the whole wintersday. DON'T FALL FOR THESE TRICKS!!!

They may change districts too fast for /report, but if you submit a support ticket, NCSoft will sort them. They can run, but they can't hide.

Selling or buying the accounts is agianst the rules and likely a scam

i bought 3 accounts the other day and some1 pm's me about trial keys. offering to buy them for 300k each. i was like wtf i dont want them so i gave them to him. the 3 accounts i bought all got banned, my primary account got banned and i didnt collect any money for it. wtf are trial keys for if u cant give them away????

As was said against the eula

if you tried to pass in game then thats the reason..

But there is no need for this as

They are still giving trial versions for free..so if your friends wish to try then send them there

i have a whole list of trail keys to keep them buzy.
screenshot + mail to ncsoft after that.
usually do that if i am bored

Those people that want trial keys do so because they make accounts from them to do illegal (against the EULA, anyway) stuff on. ANet must have a way of tracking those trial keys back to your account, and banned you.

Trial keys are for friends, not random EULA breaking people.
